Enlightening advice in complex projects

Our attorneys have significant experience spanning a range of projects, be it traditional energy resources, oil and gas, renewable energy resources, exploration of natural resources, mining, and minerals.

We regularly advise first-time investors looking for opportunities in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and established local and international energy companies.

Our attorneys offer detailed guidance throughout the project life cycle starting from: representation and negotiations with competent government agencies, negotiations and preparation of related agreements, permits and licenses, support in procurement procedures, drafting SPA and/or long-term lease agreements concerning the land/plots necessary for the development of the energy facilities, to environmental issues and acquiring related licenses.

We regularly act for developers of the wind power plants (WPP), advising them on regulatory energy matters, including: negotiations with relevant authorities regarding feed-in tariffs, privileged status, the power purchase agreement (PPA), licensing matters, reparation and review of project agreements with suppliers, financing of the project by international financing institutions, etc.

Our energy clients include independent power producers, project developers such as wind farm and thermal plant developers, solar panel production companies, financiers, lenders, power purchasers, oil and gas producers, and mining companies, including government entities.

We are particularly proud of our teams’ engagement in landmark infrastructure and PPP projects of major strategic importance to the development of regional economies.

We have advised on concessions, project development and project financing, acquisitions, privatizations, etc.
